The Teacher is a nation builder. To fulfill this statement Mr. Mahadevrao Nagoji Wandre and Director Body Member established “ The Maharashta Education And Sports Academy, Chandgad” in 2001 to provide well Teacher education to the students of Southern Maharashtra and Maharashtra Karnataka Border area. In the words of Malala Yousafzai ‘A book, a pen and a teacher can change the world’ to keep this view in the mind institute started ‘Mahadevrao B.Ed. College, Turkewadi, Mouje- Vaitakwadi, Tal-Chandagad, Dist-Kolhapur in 2008. The college is recognized by N.C.T.E. Bhopal and Affiliated by Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
The trust also running Mahadevrao Wandre Institute of Technology which provides Technical Education Polytechnic in 2001, B. Pharmacy in 2018, D. Pharmacy in 2019.
The basic ingredients of any technical and professional institution are the faculty the infrastructure facilities in terms of classroom, laboratories and provisions for the workshop seminars, sports, games and other extra- curricular activities including excursion and educational tours.
